Its that time again... Christmas and New Year are upon us. Wow... what a year!
We know many of our customers are heading off on their annual breaks to be with family and friends or significant others.
At this time, our people are also heading off for a short break to be with their families and recharge too.
Remember to also keep your support workers and therapists safe as COVID-19 is still with us and authorities are advising of increasing numbers across Australia at this time. There are additional vaccination advisories for people with extra vulnerabilities - see here. More information about vaccines and booking a vaccination can be found on the Australian Government Dept of Health website.
You can purchase face masks and other PPE through your NDIS/Aged Care plans. You can purchase items outright, including RAT kits, and then be reimbursed through your plan too.

SchemeWise is CLOSING general operations from 4PM, 20 December 2023.
We will RECOMMENCE SERVICES from 12PM, 10 January 2024.
Over this shutdown period, the SchemeWise 1300 automated phone service will continue to operate 24/7 so that customers can alert our teams to changed circumstances, which will be responded on our return. This is best used for non-urgent or general matters requiring action/response AFTER 10 January 2024. The number is NOT regularly monitored during our shutdown period.
SchemeWise is NOT an emergency responder, and cannot help during such times.

For help with problems related to fire, storms, power loss, or floods your local SES branch can help. In NSW/ACT, call 132 500.
For loss of essential disability services (needed to stay safe in your home) please reach out to Disability Gateway on 1800 643 787. This service can help you obtain temporary supports to remain safe.
For Aged Care matters, Carer Gateway can assist on 1800 422 737.
